Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

The Broker — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is available for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That should make the platform set when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
